Mixto Contemporary Latin offers a range of cuisine from Central American tacos, burritos, and tamales to entrees featuring the freshest local ingredients with a Latin twist.
We are located on the bank of the Cape Fear River in historic downtown Wilmington, NC. From our spacious outdoor patio you can enjoy views of the riverfront, the battleship USS North Carolina, and the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge.
At Mixto, we stress fresh, local ingredients and we do our best to keep a 50 mile radius for all of our raw products. The tortillas, cheese, tamales, salsa, guacamole, and much more are all handmade daily with local ingredients. We also make all of our stocks and soups fresh, in house, and do not cut corners when it comes to providing you with a top notch dining experience to remember.
Our menu was created through a collaboration of tastings which included both traditional favorites as well as items which have been infused with a contemporary twist. These tastings have resulted in our widely diverse menu selections which include unique flavors and variety for all.
