Immigrants Nancy and Rocco Palese first opened a pizza parlor in Chicago in 1970 (a daring venture in the heart of pizzadom) which hit the ground running and soon begged for expansion into the original Nancy’s of Chicago. The Paleses’ dedication to their craft paid off bigtime, as a family recipe for stuffed pizza eventually earned Nancy’s their first (of many) "Best Pizza in Chicago" local rating in 1975.

It didn’t take long before the local fame of Nancy’s traveled beyond the Midwest, and we in the south consider ourselves fortunate to have such an authentic slice of pizza history available right in the heart of Buckhead.
